Yes, Jeff, the Church IS the problem. And it has always been the problem. Your faith in God was inherited, built, manufactured by the Church, it was not GOD.

It's interesting to me to watch people in the Church choose falsehood when the truth sits right in front of their faces. You just cannot admit that your clinging to a failed pagan religion is why people are leaving.

Christianity's ONLY real power was that it had the power of the State behind it.

"The US is a Christian nation!" we demand. Yea? So was Rome.

Now that the State is no longer supporting Christianity, the pagan (gentile) borne faith is failing, people are leaving it in droves.
