Every Church pastor, corporate Church leader, and Christian scholar knows that Church membership is sinking like a rock. Countless articles have been written, surveys taken, and sermons preached all over Christian media trying to ascertain and explain why.
And all of them are dancing around the TRUE reasons instead of admitting them.
Why?
Because to admit to these true reasons would mean a wholesale SECOND REFORMATION of the Christian Church—a reformation the Church doesn’t want and doesn’t think it needs.
So, instead of admitting the truth, the Church lies to itself, yet again.
Halting the Exodus
Many attempt to offer “new and innovative solutions” in an effort to stave-off the decades-long exodus from the Church.
Most of the time these “solutions” revolve around nothing new at all. They are simply rehashes of the same tired outreach propaganda, just more intensely focused on the youth; repackaged and rebranded with more “hip” communication to make the message seem more “relevant”.
