While your dissertation here has some truth, there is a deeper set of reasons, not just one, why the Jewish people didn't accept Jesus as "the Messiah". They didn't accept him as such because Jesus himself NEVER claimed to be anything of the sort!

It was not until the advent of Paul's bastardization of Jesus' ministry that this whole "rejecting the Messiah" nonsense came about. See the below article.
