We are. I was also including myself in that comment. There was a time when I didn't know half of what I know now, yet I still pontificated like I knew more than I really did.
Where the rubber meets the road here, Jeff, is ignoring facts that are inconvenient to our hermeneutic. If you never evolve (ie learn) your understandings with facts, you message will remain in error.
Fact don't go away becuse we ignore them. And when we ignore facts, it turs us into liars instead of scholars.
