This was a moving piece, Scott. Sadly, I'm in a similar space with my last church—had to leave the Backyard Church because although I am bi, I am not Liberal and Dan Foster kicked me out because I'm Conservative (Libertarian actually).

It's funny how a church who proclaims to be accepting isn't really because of people's politics. Churches are what they are, collections of people and they all bring their biases with them.
