In the real world, we call this a HALF-TRUTH, or in other words, a LIE.
You selectively choose inferior sources implementing poor scholarship simply because they agree with your suppositions when real hard data is right in front of you disproving your biased conclusions.
Just because you don't like a real scholastic source doesn't mean that source is wrong. Perhaps GOD is trying to show you a deeper truth, but you'll never get there lying to yourself about your traditions.
