The various gospels do quote Jesus as having said this, Reginald, you are correct, but I would offer that the whole concept of the Eucharist is wholly Pagan (ie. Gentile) and not something a truly Jewish rabbi would be mimicking. In my thoughts, Paul has imported this Pagan ritual almost verbatim from Mithraism. Paul can quote these assumed words of Jesus all he likes. The real historical Jewish Jesus would never have said them. But thanks for pointing out the verses. You found one I missed. :)
