The Apostle John did not write this. It has no authority since it is from an unknown author. Don't believe everything you read from the Roman Catholic NT.

BTW, the Gospel of John was not written by the Apostle John either. It too is a pseudepigraphical work, meaning it is of unknown authorship, meaning the book is a forgery.
