Your views are pretty standard for most Christians. It's a war that goes on inside all of us between beliveing the CHURCH and what they stuffed into their Bible, and who GOD really IS. We say we belive in the Bible, but the Bible didn't just fall out of the sky, the CHURCH manufactured it and then demanded it was the Word of God.

I would offer an interesting article that shows pretty clearly how all of this happened and why no one should be believing the Church's version of history nor its Bible. It's a good read and rather eye-opening.
