Thank you responding, Nicholas. I will often just drop full works into a story as my sources, not bothering to cite specifics, but to entreat others to read the works. This is what I did with Dr. Eisenman's excellent work, James the Brother of Jesus.
To get specific then, like his brothers, James, John, and Peter, Jesus and all the Apostles were "Nazirites", a Hebrew term meaning "consecrated" or "separated", "set aside from".
This included not only abstaining from blood (eating meat) and food polluted by idols, but abstaining from alcohol as well.
Wait, what? PETER?
Read Dr. Eisenman's work. After the Catholic Church attempted to rewrite history, they made mistakes that we are more easily uncovering within the Information Age.
