Sorry, Mike, but this is just traditional bad exegesis with a gay hermeneutical twist to make people feel better. I don't agree with your conclusion.

I like what you are trying to say (at least I think I do), but you're still towing the party line of Roman Catholic Christian dogma that somehow sex between two consenting adults is somehow a sin. IT IS NOT.

The Gold Rule always takes precedence!

Many of the Gospels were indeed edited by the early Church to insert a particular bent, a dogma, using Jesus, in essence putting words and actions into Jesus' mouth he probably never ever said. (see Ehrman, "Misquoting Jesus")

There is no such thing as "godly sexuality". That is literally a bullshit premise and a sign of inept (dare I say traditional) exegesis.
