Some great points, Steven. Yea, blame the girl! I hate it when I read junk like this too.

For some additional insight, Ezekiel 18 totally confirms, I think, what you're saying, which is there is really no such thing as inherited sin ...

The word of the Lord came to me: “What do you people mean by quoting this proverb about the land of Israel: “‘The parents eat sour grapes, and the children’s teeth are set on edge’? “As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign Lord, you will no longer quote this proverb in Israel. For everyone belongs to me, the parent as well as the child—both alike belong to me. The one who sins is the one who will die. —Ezekiel 18:1-4

GOD pretty much opens and shuts the door on this whole doctrine of inherited sin, and by extension, substitutionary atonement. All of us are responsible for our own actions ... and blaming the girl, or even the devil, doesn't absolve us of our need to repent of our misdeeds.
