Paul, you offer very reasoned words. I used to write for Dan and the Backyard Church and got really good comments and traffic from it. I am of couse a heretic in my own right.

But then Dan started wrting articles about penises, and political Woke nonsense that left me feeling that he wasn't really trying to build a serious church so much as he was just building a brand that made him some cash.

I left and took my articles with me.

Then Dan blocked me.

I thought it was a bit self-centered and whiney for him to do so, but, it more or less made my point that I didn't want to be associated with such a fickle publication, or at least owner.

I've never insulted Dan, other than to call him out on his rather odd or political articles. There should be an open forum in a relgiouns group like the Backyard Chruch, but alas, it's not. If you're not Woke, you're not welcomed. Sadly.
