Of course I am familiar with the verse, however, it is doubtful Jesus ever used the term “church” since Jesus was indeed Jewish and spoke Aramaic and not Greek. It is not only a bad translation, but likely a bogus addition to the text at a much later date. (cf. Ehrman, Misquoting Jesus)

Furthermore, Jesus is not GOD. The Church made Jesus into its god, but Jesus never once calls himself GOD, unless you’re looking in the Gospel of John, which the Apostle John never ever wrote one word of.
