Of course. "Christ" is a transliteration of the Greek (christos) and a direct translation from the Hebrew "mashiach" or "messiah" in English.

Christian tradition has made this title synonymous with Jesus, as if there could be no other "christs", but that is yet another lie, another misnomer of the Church.

John, Jesus and James cousin (aka. John the Baptist) was considered a "christ", that is one who was anointed of GOD. So were all of the Prophets.
