Mick, you make very good points. However, I can’t agree with your experience regarding GOD. Yes, GOD is often aloof, difficult to communicate with, and you’re right, we seldom if ever really have the ability to influence what GOD will do or not do. That being said, I have experienced the voice of GOD on a few occasions. Whomever or whatever GOD is, is definitely not what the Church is preaching. Perhaps GOD is the Universe. Nothing at this point would really surprise me. I hope one day you do get to experience the voice of GOD. It was a very powerful experience in my own life. Take care and thank you for the reply!
