MC, I don’t know enough about Islam to fill a thimble, so I have nothing to say one way or the other about who, what, when, or why.

But I will comment on what I see today.

From what I observe, the only reason Islam survives to be as big as it is, is that it is IMPOSED on people by whatever State as a malevolent Theocracy. Most Islamic nations force people to observe Muslim traditions, and if you don’t you’re arrested. Seriously?!

Before the fall of the Shah of Iran in the 1970’s, for instance, Iran was a very Western and cultured nation; women attended universities, and drove cars, and wore bikini’s on the beach like every other nation does. With the fall of the Shah and subsequent take-over by the Mullahs, Iran looks like it belongs in the Dark Ages, especially if you’re a woman.

Oooh, we’re a Muslim nation now. Please set your clocks back 1,400 years.
