Kimberley, with all due respect to your current understandings, the REASON "Why I Believe What Is Written in the Bible" is because you don't know enough ABOUT the Bible, nor the Church who created it.

GOD did not create the Bible. Men did. And they had one goal in doing so—the promotion of their pet brand of religious thought.

As you learn and grow in your KNOWLEDGE of Christianity, the Church, and the Bible the Church created, your understandings will update and evolve as well.

Here is a book to look at that shines a light on what many seminary students learn. It's a good read and it helped me understand why the Bible isn't everything my Church told me it was.
