Jesus does NOT fulfill the prophecy of Isaiah within the Servant Songs.

The almost unanimous view in modern Judaism, that Israel is the servant, was popularized by the famous commentator Rashi in the 11th Century. Yet, in his own time, this was far from the consensus. Other influential Jewish scholars, like Maimonides (Rambam) considered Isaiah 53 to be about the Messiah.
