I'll disagree with you here. I do not leave us with nothing. I leave the truth. I leave us with a truly holy and loving GOD who does not require the bloody death of someone else to pay the price for my sin. I leave us with a new and refreshing understanding of GOD, the GOD that Jesus knew and prayed to. I leave us with a responsibility to repent of our own sin and make ourselves righteous in the eyes of GOD, just as GOD via the prophet said. There is not "nothing" left, there is a whole lot left, so to speak. The only thing missing is the worship of a messiah we should not be worshipping to begin with. Jesus never taught anyone to pray to himself. But Christians do it. I'm not sure why because it is not even Biblical. It's just our man-made tradition.
