I understand your thoughts here, Remae. My wife and I adopted two children from an overseas orphanage in Kazakhstan. Beautiful children that were unwanted. Yes, the state had to care for them for a while. But now one is a nanny taking care of children herself and an aspiring actress with her own movie credit on IMDB; and the other is an entrepreneur, student, and male fashion model, also aspiring actor.

I love your view of calling these kids living beings. My thoughts exactly as well. My wish would be that every child could be born and adopted out to families who want children of their own. My children were given up so that someone could adopt them and give them nurturing homes. Two very beautiful souls are in the world now because aborting them, well, in Muslim nations, it just wasn’t an option.

I don’t have all the answers. But my wife and I did make a difference in two lives—lives their birth parents would be amazed if they could see where these talented children are now.
