I love the way you erect a strawman with which to argue against, Richard. I did say that some churches admit that Dec. 25 is not actually the birthday of Jesus.

And no, it has not been long understood that Jesus was born in the spring, that would be impossible since he was born 6 months after his cousin John who was born in the spring. Perhaps only by your Pagan (Gentile) tradition, but the tradition is impossible given the dates Zechariah was serving in the Temple.

With regard to the celestial bodies, I did say exactly what you point out, so I am not sure what why you feel you need to argue this?

Finally, with regard to the FACTS, that is all I stick to. Facts override tradition in every case. I am not making a travesty of these subjects, I am however CORRECTING centuries of lying TRADITION.
