Hi Gaitherlucille. There are a lot of man-made dogmas that the Christian church preaches today that are not of God. I wonder if you actually read my article? Because you seem to have missed most of the points.

Sola Scriptura is a man-made doctrine. God never asked for a Bible to be created nor did God ask for the various books of the bible to be written. The Bible is without question a man-made, Church-made compilation.

Do I believe there is inspiration in the Bible? Of course. But very little. There is very little because there doesn’t need to be a lot for us to understand the heart and mind of GOD.

To use the words of Paul to prove the Bible is a misnomer. A proves B because B proves A is a circular reasoning fallacy. Further, Paul’s second letter to Timothy was written well before there would even be a Christian Bible canon, before there would even be the books of John and Peter. These books have very late authorship, well after Paul had died. Ergo, Paul was not referring to these books, nor even his own letters as “scripture”. If anything, the only writ Paul could have been referring to were the loose collections of Jewish books: Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings, what you would call the Old Testament. Even then Paul discredits these books of the Law (ie. Torah) as a “curse”. So much for being “God-breathed”. And this is not the only time Paul reveals himself as a hypocrite.

I would suggest that you read my new book FALSE WITNESS—How the Christian Church Built a Foundation of Lies, to gather a much deeper perspective than you currently have. You don’t have to agree with my perspectives, but the fact are unassailable. The book is also available at no cost on my website at KeithMichael.org.
