Hey Michael,

1) Re-read the article; and 2) Try not to toss the baby out with the dirty bathwater.

Jesus taught that is it reasonable to choose wisely from the Scriptures—to pick and choose that which is reasonable and that which is not. We saw this within the article from the Homilies.

Do not allow the Church to dictate your views of GOD or its Bbile. Stand on your own with GOD. You don't need the Church messing with your relationship.

Turn to the Holu Spirit for truth and understand that there is but ONE Law we must follow: To treat othes as we would like to be treated.

As far as the Church lying to you and to all of us, start here ... it's a very rewarding read. As is the series that follows.
