For starters, no Hebrew would ever condone human sacrifice as something GOD would ever want. Paul turned Jesus into a Mithraic human sacrifice. Second, the Pagan (Gentile) Catholic Church did away with the Feasts of Israel, including the weekly Shabbat, replacing them with Pagan (ie. Gentile) alternatives or just banning their celebrations outright. Also, no Hebrew would ever consider the thought of a “New Covenant” when the ONE Covenant was perfectly fine. Just because Israel broke faith with GOD did not mean GOD needed to make a whole new agreement. “He who is the glory of Israel is not a man that he should need to change his mind.” —Samuel

These are things Christians a just not aware of, mostly because we’re not taught them on purpose.
