Excellent article, Dan! But I think you touched on something huge you may not realize—the true name of GOD!

The other aspect of GOD that needs to be mentioned is that the Hebrews viewed GOD as a plurality and not just monotheistic. "Let us make man in our image ..." This monotheism was a tradition that came much later, most likely during the latter kings, perhaps as late as Hezekiah.
