Edward, you and I are on the exact same page, but it took me quite a few years to see Paul as the charlatan apostle that he was.

It has been a while since I have looked at Schweitzer's work, but I did find his scholarship very sound and I quote his work frequently in my books, along with Bart Ehrman, Hyam Macoby and others.

You would not be wasting your time reading Schweitzer or Macoby,—or my own work! LOL!
