Before you put your trust in the Bible, you must first put your trust in the CHURCH who gave it to you. I do not trust the Church. I don't trust them because they LIED to me, they lied to all of us, about who and where these various books of their Bible came from. The lied to us about who Jesus was; they lied to us about who GOD is; the list of fabrications and lies is endless.

So I had to backup in my views and my beliefs about who GOD is, who Jesus was, and basically reconstruct everything I thought I knew about GOD without the Church's lies getting in the way.

I even wrote an entire book about the Church's lies.

In the end, I approach faith, NOT blindly, but with both eyes wide open. I look at Jesus in the historical sense, not the Mithraic version the Church adopted and then pushed onto Humanity.

The historical Jesus and Apostles are much more interesting to me because they show a factually TRUE understanding of GOD and the gospel Jesus most likely preached as a truly Jewish rabbi in first century Rome (the Empire).
